The remote entities allow you to learn and send codes with universal remotes. They are created automatically when you configure devices with IR/RF capabilities. Use remote.learn_command to learn IR and RF codes.

I did adjust the timeout to 60 seconds before the last restart and it worked, maybe that helped. Recently I purchased a Broadlink rm4 Pro in hopes of ‘modernizing’ my house.
